My onions were sautéed perfectly giving my omelet that just right taste. Pancakes were huge and tasty. Server's were new so the coffee wasn't filled and the tables were full of dishes hence the 4stars. A little on the expensive side but not over the top tastiness and meal size made up for it. Would have preferred a bigger coffee cup then I'd not have drank it so fast we'll probably stop by again. Stopped in for dinner, Hawaiian burger is delicious, fries are fresh cut potatoes. My daughters blt was crispy and big and my other daughter had a large breakfast burrito, they all enjoyed their dinner. Definitely a hidden gem.
Hello! To Vickie McCullough and everyone who wants to know about this small and cute cafe! This place is so wonderful and the food is delicious, this establishment is family owned and operated and they are working the best they can with all the construction. Unfortunate for our friend that arrived the same time around us, the food did not take an hour to arrive and was not burned. I caught a glance at their plates and they were cooked to perfection! Covey Cafe is wonderful and they have one of the best burgers I have ever tasted. I would also recommend their chicken sandwiches, which the owner tells me he makes homemade, fresh, everyday.
Came in Saturday morning, it was slightly busy. The diner is clean and inviting. My daughter and I were immediately greeted and seated. Their menu has great options without being overwhelming. We both ordered off the favorites menu. The french toast was great. The bacon was delicious. The coffee was hot, and perfect and they kept it coming. Such nice people and wonderful food. They also have lunch and dinner so we will be back!
This family owned cafe is always a treat! We’ve had the breakfast and dinner here and both were fantastic! I am from the south, and they nailed the biscuits and gravy. We also had their French toast, eggs, and bacon and everything was delicious. The burgers are crazy good with lots of options. I hope more people in Caldwell stop by, cause this hole in the wall diner is worth it. The owner and his daughter that run the place are such friendly people!
The food is actually amazing. And I’m not saying this because it’s family. The eggs were perfect. I would definitely recommend anyone to eat here. Definitely served in a timely manner.
I have gone here several times since I discovered it. It is an older building which could use some updating. However , the weekend servers are on point and super friendly and make you feel like friends. Service is great and friendly. The food though. These cooks/chefs in the back know what’s up. It may take a little time to get your food because it’s made fresh but boy can you taste the difference. I find myself craving their veggie omelet. Go. You will not be disappointed.
Great family owned little dinner. Delicious delicious burgers. We've been waiting till the construction made it easier to access, well the wait is over!! We had cheeseburgers, one with a generous side salad and one with home cut French fries. Everything was flavorful and the prices are great. Be sure to stop in and tell everyone the construction is over!!
There is so much food I had to take it home. We had chicken fried steak, and it was great. The gravy is the best I've had in a long time thick, creamy and perfect
